The 5th Technology Commercialisation Seminar organized by the UK
Technology Transfer Coordinator for CERN will be held at CERN on
Monday 9 February 2004. It will take place in Salle B, building
61-1-09 at 14:30. The seminar, will be entitled "
Entrepreneurship & Physics" will be given by Nathan Hill,
UK-Technology Transfer Co-ordinator. Entrepreneurship and

The final seminar in this series will address the more
personal aspects of working with and within industry. Why should
we spend our time developing spinout companies or working to
develop technologies with industry? Are there qualities that we
learn as physicists that translate well into industry? The
seminar will conclude with a reminder of the five essential
requirements that must be fulfilled before a technology can be
considered worthy for commercialisation.
